The Foundry Table sits in a century-old brick storefront on 4th Street, in the middle of Loveland's downtown arts revival, and the room wears its history well: pressed-tin ceilings, foundry-relic light fixtures, and an open kitchen built around a wood-fired hearth you can smell from the sidewalk.

The menu is gastropub-by-way-of-the-Front-Range — a smoked short rib that reviewers mention more than anything else on the menu, blistered-crust pizzas, and a rotating vegetable board that takes the local farm haul seriously. The bar pours almost exclusively Colorado: NoCo breweries on draft, Palisade wines, and a bourbon list with Front Range distilleries up front.

Fourth Street fills up on Night on the Town evenings and before shows at the Rialto, so book ahead on second Fridays. Sunday's early menu and the all-evening happy hour at the bar are the local moves.
