For organizations
Community Partners
Town halls, libraries, museums, theatres and nonprofits are a big part of what is happening in Northern Colorado. If your organization holds regular public events, your listing gets every Premium feature on NoCoThrive at no cost, with no card on file.
Who qualifies
- Government bodies, such as a city, town, county or district.
- 501(c)(3) nonprofits listed by the IRS as public charities.
Either way, the organization holds at least 3 public events within 90 days either side of today. We count the events already on our calendar for your listing, plus the events in your own public calendar if you give us its address. A run of nights for one show counts once.
Churches and other religious organizations, hospitals and health systems, universities and colleges, and credit unions are not eligible. We go by the codes the IRS files carry, so a foundation or a school that only sounds like one of these is looked at by a person rather than turned away.
What is included
- Every Premium feature on your listing: the full page, your photos and story, your logo, links, video, offers and events with their descriptions and photos. See what Premium includes.
- The Community Partner badge on your listing, in place of the Premium mark.
- Your events kept current from your own calendar, every day, once you give us permission from your dashboard, including their descriptions and images, credited to you. You can stop it at any time.
- Your own edits always win: anything you change on your listing or your events stays as you set it.
The one thing a Community Partner does not get is Featured placement, because Featured means a business pays for it.
No cost, no card
There is nothing to pay and no card to enter, for as long as your organization qualifies. We re-check eligibility every day. If your public events drop below 3, we email you and you have 90 days to add more before the listing returns to the free plan; anything you added is kept.
How to apply
- Claim your listing with your organization’s email address. If your organization is not listed yet, tell us.
- Open your dashboard and choose Apply as a Community Partner: government, or nonprofit with your EIN.
Government bodies: when you sign in from an address on your organization’s own .gov website domain, approval is automatic. If your organization’s domain is not a .gov domain, or your email and website are on different domains, a person reviews the application.
Nonprofits: we check your EIN against the IRS’s public files. If the files we hold are more than 45 days old, or the IRS name does not match your listing, a person reviews it.
When every check passes, your listing becomes a Community Partner the moment you apply. Anything the checks cannot settle goes to a person, never to an automatic no.
