How featuring works

“Featured” on NoCoThrive means the business pays for a Premium or Spotlight membership and has filled in its listing, with at least 3 photos and a description. Featured listings carry the Featured badge and appear above other listings on city and category pages. The featured section of the home page has a set number of spots, and featured listings take turns in them.

Being featured affects ordering and nothing else. It never changes a business's rating summary, and every listing that is not featured is ranked the same way whether or not anyone nearby pays us.
