How we report
NoCoThrive is a guide to Northern Colorado for the people who live here and the people visiting. These are the standards behind every story.
Where our facts come from
We build stories from the places that know best: city and county websites, parks and open space departments, museums, venues, tourism offices, and the businesses themselves. We don't rewrite other outlets' articles. Stories with a Sources list name every page we used, linked, with the date we last read each one, and none of them rests on a single source.
How we check
For those stories, every fact traces back to a listed source. Before publishing, each one is checked claim by claim, anything the sources don't support comes out, and a dead link stops it from going live. We never say we visited, tasted or stayed somewhere unless it's true.
Who reviews
Stories marked "Reviewed by" have been read and approved by a person before publishing. We use software, including AI tools, to gather facts from sources and draft stories.
Photos
Photographers are credited under each picture.
Paid partnerships
Paid content is always labelled "Partner Feature" at the top. Paying never changes whether a business is included or what we say about it.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong or out of date? Tell us on the contact page and name the story. We check it against the source and fix it. If you run a business we mention, you can also claim your free listing to keep your details current.
