Timnath
A century-old farm town turned lakeside boomtown, tucked between Fort Collins and the Poudre River corridor.
Timnath was settled in 1869 and platted in 1882, the year the railroad linking Greeley and Fort Collins came through. A local Presbyterian minister took the name from the Book of Judges. The town sits on a bluff east of the Cache la Poudre River, near the Harmony Road interchange on Interstate 25, and incorporated in 1920.
