An example, not a real business

This is what a Premium listing looks like.

There is no business called “Your Business Name”. The address, the phone number, the website and the words below are all placeholders, and nothing on this page belongs to anybody. We built it so you can see exactly what a paid listing gets before you decide whether it is worth it. A real one would carry your name, your photographs and your story in the same places.

Your Business NameVerified business

4.5(100)

Fort Collins · 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

A short summary of what you do and who you do it for. This is the description every listing gets, free ones included.

This is the long-form story, and it is the part of the page a free listing does not get. It runs under your name, in your own words, and it is the difference between a directory entry and a page that actually sells for you.

Use it to say the things a summary cannot hold. How long you have been doing this. What you are known for. Who your regulars are and what keeps them coming back. What happens when somebody walks in for the first time, and why they should.

Write it the way you would explain your business to somebody who has just moved here and asked a neighbour where to go. Plain, specific, and true. Leave a blank line between paragraphs and each one lands as its own paragraph on your page, exactly like this one.

About this example

What you are looking at, line by line.

The listing above renders through the same template a paying member gets. It is not a mock-up of the design. Here is what is on the page, what a membership does away from it, and what is dated but not built yet.

On the page above

Point at any of these in the listing.

  • Name, category and address

In the hero, and again in the Find it panel with the map.

  • Phone, hours, map and directions

The call button, the full week of hours, the map and the directions link.

  • Website link on your page

The Website and booking button in the dark panel.

  • Google rating summary

The stars and review count under the name, plus the score breakdown in the sidebar.

  • Photos

The full-width photograph at the top and the gallery under the story. A free listing gets one photo and no gallery.

  • Description

The long-form story. A free listing gets the single opening paragraph and nothing after it.

  • Verified owner badge

The mark beside the name, which tells visitors the owner runs this listing.

  • No competitors on your page

Visible by its absence. A free listing ends with a row of nearby competitors; this page ends with you.

  • Events on your listing page

The What’s on block, posted from your dashboard. Past dates drop off on their own.

Away from your page

Real, and bought, but a listing page is not where it happens.

  • Website link on your card

Your card in browse and search links straight to your site. Free cards do not.

  • Readable by search engines and AI tools

Machine-readable data in the page source, which is how search engines and AI assistants read your listing. This example does not publish it, because it would describe a business that does not exist.

  • Cities you can appear in

Decides which city pages you appear on, so it shows in browse rather than on your own page.

  • Categories you appear in

Decides which category pages you appear on. Your page shows the one that fits best.

  • Featured placement

The home page, your city hub and every category page you appear on, above unpaid listings.

  • Mentions in NoCoThrive articles

In the pieces we write, named and linked back here.

  • Google Business Profile audit

A written report we send you about your Google profile. Nothing on the listing.

Dated, not built yet

Sold with a month against it, and deliberately not shown above, because it does not exist today.

  • Social profiles and extra linksComing September 2026

Add Instagram, Facebook, menus, booking pages, any link that matters.

  • Video embedComing October 2026

Embed a video tour or promo clip on your listing page.

  • Listing performance dashboardComing December 2026

Views, calls and clicks on your listing, in your dashboard.
